• Pokedex now shows the abilities and stats of a caught pokemon.
• TM and move tutors are now reusable.
• All TMs and HMs can be found in-game.
• Also, some M and HMs were moved early in-game, rock smash is now in the saffron city with Mr. psychic TM.
• Some trees once cut down will no longer grow back.
• Some rugged rocks were added in some areas as roadblocks.
• HMs are deletable.
• Some moves were updated and the physical/special split was added.
• Some abilities were updated, Study now can't be ko with one hit like in gen 6 or 7.
• Every pokemon has a new moveset of gen 4 but some moves were improvised.
• Stone evolution pokemon have more moves after evolved.
• Most TM and HM are now compatible with more pokemon, for example; Pikachu and Raichu can learn surf via hm and Charizard can learn solarbeam.
• Some pokemon have new sprites from emerald and platinum, also some fixed.
• Wardobe from Pokemon Throwback.
• Some areas were altered in appearance. Example victory road second-floor appearance is similar to mt. ember cave, while the third floor is similar to seafoam islands cave.
• Rock tunnel and lost cave now need flash to get through.
• Some pokemon wild areas were changed. For example; pidgeotto, metapod and kakuna no longer appear in Virdian forest. and were replaced with exeggcute, ledyba and spinarak, also paras was added as well.
• Every trainer battle was revised, more grinding exp pts.
• After beating seventh gym and island one two and three. Eighth gym, victory road, and post-game will have every trainer with 5 pokemon.
• Rival when having jynx now has a machamp instead of alakazam, it made little sense since its starter was a psychic type. Magby rival has Abra. And Elekid rival has Gastly. Plus note that every pokemon in the rival's team are not similar and have different fire, water types.
• Champion rivals first round is now altered, the same could be said about the Elite Four. Now they are higher lv.
• Now GYM Leaders have rematches at Traveler's tomb. Ancient Labyrinth has been redone and renamed to Leader labyrinth, plus they can be rechallenge when talking to the gym man. Events that had trainer and mew were moved to different locations.
• Mew was moved to Mt. Ember and is now at lv 90.
• Mew's event is like Pokemon throwback you need Mewtwo in the party in order to battle. credit to RichterSnipes.
• Moltres was moved to victory road to be like gen 1.
• Unown lv is now 60.
• Kyogre and Groudon are now lv 70.
• Ho-oh and Lugia are now lv 80.
• EV reduce berries were added.
• Berry vendor in Celadon city.
• 2nd berry vendor in island three.
• Item type boost vendor was added at indigo plateau.
• Some mart were edited and some prices were put back to original and berry are more expensive.
• No longer will the rocket grunt move after rescuing dr. fuji, but after beating the fifth gym leader will.
• Lucky egg is still in route 4 in the same place just hidden.
• Side note: gen 2 and gen 1 starters have been moved earlier and are set to lv 10, Eevee lv back to default, porygon at lv 25, lapras lv 30, castform as well at lv 30, and fossils pokemon at lv 30.
• Trainers with Evs, gym leaders, rival, elite four, post-game trainers, and champions will have. ultra ball and master ball style.
• Badges do not give a stat boost.
• Minor note the type chart has been updated to gen 6. No Fairy Type, gen 3 only.
